Tier 0 — Ry Colston brand
Owner
Ryan Colston
Started

Target launch

Three brands, non-overlapping roles. Ry Colston is the face. Capri is the paperwork. Listing Legends is the team.

Why

Long-term, Capri is a real business entity (LLC already exists) that can hold transactions, signage, and paid marketing under its own name. Short-term, the content engine is already running under Ry's name with audience trust built up. Rushing a content rebrand burns that trust for no gain.

The three-brand split lets each surface do what it does best. Ry catches attention. Capri catches transactions. Listing Legends catches the team's work. No badge confusion, no audience whiplash.

Current state

Capri LLC exists. DBA scoped for May 1 launch. Public-facing seller funnel lives at sell.rycolston.com indefinitely (no separate Capri domain unless paid marketing or signage forces it). FUB instance decision deferred to Phase 1 (by Jun 30).

Brand rules (locked 2026-05-02)

  1. Brand mark is Capri RE (not Capri alone). Use Capri RE in every outbound asset.
  2. Every mention of Capri RE must be paired with powered by Orchard Brokerage. Canonical pattern: Capri RE, powered by Orchard Brokerage. This is the legal/license disclosure. Capri RE = brand container. Orchard Brokerage = licensed brokerage holding regulatory authority. The disclosure travels with the brand.
  3. Voice rule still stands: content/voice/face = Ry Colston. Transactions/legal/lead capture = Capri RE.

Applies to: email signatures, email body copy, landing pages, mailers, business cards, social bios, signage, paid creative, transaction paperwork. Anywhere Capri RE appears, the disclosure goes with it.

Next 3 actions

  1. Confirm Capri RE DBA paperwork is filed and active for the May 1 launch window.
  2. Audit every existing surface that mentions "Capri" — update to Capri RE, powered by Orchard Brokerage. Surfaces to check: sell.rycolston.com landing copy, social bios, any FUB email templates, sales-motion email files in ~/platform/projects/kit-mcp/sequences/.
  3. Decide if a separate Capri RE FUB instance is warranted before Jun 30 (currently leaning no).
